Building Custodian: (Full-Time = Grade 54 / Salary Range = $20,501 - $31,046 DOQ) Perquimans County is currently accepting applications for a building custodian.  Scope of work includes cleaning and maintenance of County buildings and grounds.  Work is performed under general supervision of the Maintenance Supervisor.  High school diploma is required and any combination of experience and training which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.  Applicants may apply through the Perquimans County Manager’s Office (426-8484).  Closing date for receipt of applications is October 25, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. EOE.

Income Maintenance Technician – Part-time/Temporary Position: (Grade 59 - $10.00 per hour) Perquimans County Department of Social Services has openings for a part-time/temporary full-time Income Maintenance Technician:  Minimum Education & Experience:  Graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional or clerical public contact experience which should have included negotiating, interviewing, explain information, gathering and compiling of data, analysis of data, and/or the performance of mathematical or legal tasks; or graduation from high school and one year of experience in an income maintenance program; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  Description of Work:  The primary purpose of the Income Maintenance Technician is to determine client’s/applicant’s eligibility for Low Income Energy Assistance Program (LIEAP) and the Crisis Intervention Program (CIP) in the Perquimans County Department of Social Services.  All applicants must complete a State application (PD-107) and apply through NC Works in Elizabeth City, NC or Perquimans County Department of Social Services, P.O.
