EMS: (Grade 68 * $37,221-$56,369 Full-time depending on qualifications & experience) Perquimans County has openings for Part-time Paramedic positions as well as Full-time Paramedics in its Emergency Medical Services Division. Job requirements: (1) successful completion of an approved appropriate North Carolina State Emergency Medical Technician training program and certification as a Paramedic; and maintain level of certification; (2) one year of field experience at the appropriate certification level preferred. (3) able to pass an oral board with the system's medical director to operate at the appropriate level. (4) valid North Carolina driver’s license. (5) ability to lift and move up to 200 pounds with assistance. (6) High School graduate or equivalent. Income Maintenance Caseworker II - Family & Children's Medicaid:  (Grade 63 - $29,869.00 to $45,236.00) Perquimans County Department of Social Services has an opening for a full-time Income Maintenance Caseworker II - Family & Children's Medicaid.  Minimum Education & Experience:  Full qualification for Income Maintenance II Position must have one year experience as an Income Maintenance I or Eligibility Specialist I in a Department of Social Services.  The Department will accept work against position if there are no fully qualified applicants.  Graduation from a four year College or University.  Graduation from an accredited associate degree program in Human Services Technology, Social Services Associate, Paralegal Technology, Business Administration, Secretarial Science, or a closely related curriculum; or graduation from high school and two years of paraprofessional, clerical, or other public contact experience which includes negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, gathering and compiling of data, analysis of data and/or performance of mathematical or legal tasks and at least one year of such experience being in an income maintenance program; or graduation from high school and three years of paraprofessional clerical or other public contact experience which included negotiating, interviewing, explaining information, the gathering and compiling of data, the analysis of date and/or the performance of mathematical or legal tasks; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.  ALL APPLICANTS MUCH COMPLETE A STATE APPLICATION (PD-107) AND APPLY THROUGH NC WORKS IN ELIZABETH CITY, NORTH CAROLINA.  Closing date for receipt of applications is March 22, 2019.
