A gentle form of yoga geared to mature adults will be offered on Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:00 am- 10:30 am. Instructor Harriet Marquit will lead the class that is for beginner to intermediate students. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a mat if you have one. There is no charge for the class however donations are welcomed. For more information call 426-5695.
Yoga will be offered on Wednesday mornings from 9:00 am-10:30 am. Class is open to everybody and no prior experience is necessary. Class will help strengthen muscles, increase flexibility and encourage a greater sense of balance.
Starting November 3rd class will be held by preregistration. There must be a minimum of 6 students for class to run and the cost of six classes will be $60. Walk-ins will be welcome at $15 per class. Aerobic Kickboxing Class
Aerobic kickboxing classes will be offered on Tuesday's and Thursday's from 6:00 pm-7:15 p.m. Please bring an exercise mat and water. Cost per class is $2.50. Class has moved to Hertford Grammar School (multi-purpose room) located at 603 Dobbs Street.No class Thursday 11/26 or from 12/22/2015 through 12/31/2015. Class will resume on 1/5/2015.
ZUMBA is a Latin-music based cardio workout that will burn lots of calories! Monday class is from 6-7 pm, cost is $5.00 per class. Cynthia Elliott, a certified instructor will lead you through this fun workout to help reduce stress, burn fat, build endurance and tone muscles. Bring water, a small towel and wear comfortable shoes. If you have any questions please call the recreation department 426-5695.
Pilates is a method of body conditioning that is a system of stretching and strengthening exercises developed over 90 years ago by Joseph Pilate. It strengthens and tones muscles, improves posture, provides flexibility and balance, unites body and mind , and creates a more streamlined shape. Class is Monday and Friday mornings from 9:15 am-10 am, cost is $5.00 per class. Please bring a mat. Please call ahead to check class schedule. No class Friday November 27th.
Strength Training & Toning Class
Strength training and toning class will be offered on Wednesdays from 6 pm to 7 pm. Cost is $2.50 per class. Class may include leg work with resistance bands, squats, leg lifts, planks, push-ups and more. It is a total body workout with no routine to learn! Class has moved to Hertford Grammar School (multi-purpose room) located at 603 Dobbs Street.No classes Wednesday 11/25, 12/23 or 12/30.

YOUTH BASKETBALL REGISTRATION
We are now registering for youth basketball for boys & girls ages 4 to 12 years old. Age groups are as follows: co-ed starter basketball ages 4-6 years old, ages 7-9 and ages 10-12. Age is determined as of December 31,2015. Registration fee is $20. The DEADLINE to register is Friday, November 20, 2015.
Registration Dates: These are registration dates only, not when games are played.
