Fire Marshal position performs various duties including conducting fire safety inspection programs. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and considerable experience in fire inspections, fire investigations, and fire safety programs is required. Must have Certification of NC Department of Insurance as a Level I fire inspector with the ability to obtain Level II fire inspector certification within 2 years. Not to exceed 18 hours per week. ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT - RECREATION DEPARTMENT: Perquimans County is seeking an administrative assistant in the Recreation Department located at 310 Granby Street, Hertford, NC. Salary is Grade 58 with a range of $20,975 to $31,765 per year and will be provided according to experience. This individual will serve under the Recreation Director and will be required to perform administrative and clerical work as directed by the Director. Must be a high school graduate; considerable experience in clerical work required; an Associates Degree in Office Technology is preferred, or equivalent combination of training and experience.
